Toll Road Inn

This was perfect lodging for our group. We had a total of 12 people with us, including 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 4yrs to 11yrs old. We booked 4 rooms. 3 double bed rooms and one king with 1 of the adjoining double. My family of 5 had the adjoining rooms. It was perfect. We could have been completely comfortable in 1 double bed room. The rooms are big, with 2 separate sinks, a bath tub/shower and toilet. There is cable in the rooms along with a mini fridge, welcome basket with popcorn, chocolate and water. The rooms are rustic art inspired with vintage furniture. The beds and towels are white and clean. Towels are supplied for the hot tub which you sign up for, from 4p-9p in the office. This Inn was a hidden treasure on our journey. |We had stayed at 9 other hotels on our journey and this was far and away the best. Friendly owner greeted us and gave us a very comfortable, pleasant room. The entire place looked as though it had just been completely painted, wallpapered, carpeted and had attractive art work throughout. There were even a few treats in a basket in our room. It had a nice pool, a hot tub, and a large common room filled with windows with a fireplace, books, popcorn, comfortable seating and a Keurig coffee bar. He recommended a wonderful restaurant within walking distance and sold us discount tickets to "Hildene" saving us considerable money.

I am staying here now for business and the rooms are very thoughtfully designed, clean and spacious! There is a cozy lounge area on the first floor and a nice little coffee nook. A welcome basket of two waters, skinny pop popcorn, and a chocolate bar was a nice surprise. The owners have done a wonderful job with this motor lodge inn. As we have some much-needed rain right now I have not been able to check out the property, but it looks beautiful, and for some extra relaxation, they have a hot tub that you can reserve. It is very close to everything in Manchester. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a very reasonable priced comfortable and clean place to relax. 1000 out of 10! We absolutely loved our stay! It’s retro yet modern. Our room was huge and clean and the bed was excellent. Sitting in the back on Adirondack chairs by the brook was peaceful and lovely. Don’t miss the hot tub @ night. We can’t say enough good things! Stay here!!!!

We had a family room which was huge. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. We enjoyed the common area but 3 chilly nights and no one lit a fire. I guess I should have asked. The views of the mountain and brook was wonderful. The free coffee in the common area was nice but in room coffee makers would have been better. Bobs restaurant across the street was nice for breakfast but super crowded and long wait for food. Maybe nicer duvets. A short drive to town.
