Four Winds Country Motel

The owners went above and beyond to meet our every request. They even gave us a ride to the town center because our car broke down and we were waiting for it to be fixed. I highly recommend this place, affordable and very clean. Enjoyed the waffles for breakfast too 🙂. Gem of human beings the owner and his family.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! If I could give this place a 0, I would.||I booked a room for 1 night and had to cancel due to a medical emergency. I called the motel, and they were kind enough to move it back a week - but were going to charge me another $100+ (even though I paid in full on Booking.com) because it was Columbus Day weekend. When I arrived, the female owner charged my credit card for 196.00 (!!) and told me it was "a hold" and I "would not be charged." ||We left the next day as planned. Around 5:30 pm on the day we checked out, the owner called to ask me when we were checking in. I responded we had already checked in/checked out that morning. He seemed confused and then hung up. ||Three days later, a charge for $196.00 appeared on my credit card. When I called, the male

A great place with a kind, conscientious and diligent staff. We stayed for two nights in rooms on the upper hill. The rooms were extremely clean and cosy. The staff were extremely responsive. The value and amenities were more than we expected for the cost. An affordable and comfortable way to enjoy an expensive part of Vermont. We look forward to returning to Four Winds in the future.

I am very disappointed with this motel. They made an error in our booking and charged us for 2 nights when we only stayed for one. They refuse to talk to us to clear up the error and have made a charge on my credit card without my authorization. I do not recommend this motel unless you want to be overcharged.
