I can’t speak to the interior because I never made it past the front desk. I had a weekend reservation for 12/5–12/7. I booked via email and spoke with Antonius on the phone to give him my cc to confirm the reservation. At that time I requested early check-in; he asked me to confirm closer to the date. On 12/4, I requested a 1:00–1:30 p.m. check-in, but was told no check-in before 4:00 p.m. Since it’s off-season and a small hotel, I said I would try to be there around 4 but if not I gave my best arrival estimate of around 9:00 p.m.|I arrived at 8:30 p.m. to an unattended front desk. Had a really nice stay at The Stanford. Room cost was a third of what I paid previous week at a full service hotel in Manchester and my room was much, much nicer. All hardwood floors,new bathrooms, windows that open to let fresh air in and a mini fridge. All things the "luxury" hotel did not. Very quiet and a nice firepit. Only downside was no desk if you need to catch up on work. But great wifi. Owner very nice.

We discovered this great place to stay by pure coincidence and we would definitely return. Affordable, recently and tastefully renovated, the beds are very comfortable and the room is exceptionally clean. The bathroom has been renovated with a large tiled shower including shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The owner is super friendly and the staff are very attentive to detail. Snacks and a light grab and go breakfast are offered. It's fun to sit around the fire pit and watch the stars. We found the location great as it is close to shopping, good restaurants, hiking and site seeing. We would definitely give it a thumbs up!.

The place to have a comfortable and relaxed space in any season of nature.

Quaint inn like motel with stunning views and special touches I like a faux fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit. Clean with fridge and bed that rises. It's off the road but quiet. Perfect for a Manchester getaway!...........................................
