Tillison Bend Campground

I booked a cabin for the weekend and I am almost afraid to tell you how amazing this place is! From the moment we arrived, everyone was very kind and we even got greeted by the owner with awesome food suggestions. Check in was a breeze and the cabin was clean. They are still working on adding a lot of cool activities but even at the moment there is more than enough to do. I got to enjoy live music by the salt water pool on Friday night and a drink from the tiki bar, we played pickle ball and basketball in their inside facility, and my son enjoyed some time on the playground. They have a store with your usual convenient needs and the owner has a food truck come in on the weekends since they don’t sell any food at the moment. My family will definitely be back !

Absolutely loved our stay! This campground exceeded our expectations in every way. The sites were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with beautiful views and plenty of shade. The bathrooms were spotless and conveniently located. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We loved the peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxing by the fire or enjoying morning coffee. Bonus points for great walking trails and fun amenities for the kids. We can’t wait to come back!

Cabin #2 was really nice. Unfortunately we picked cold and rainy days to stay. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the back deck drinking coffee and evenings out there sitting by the fire pit. From what we saw of the pool, hot tub and tiki bar, it looks like it will be a really nice place in warmer weather. The park is still new and needs a few tweaks, but we will definitely be back.

Awesome place!! I asked ChatGPT to find a great campground with a pool near Birmingham and it recommended this one. Chat always comes through☺️ Great sites, views and of course the pool/tiki bar is fabulous with a swim up bar! They had live music and they are opening a restaurant on-site soon. Basically facilities are all new so very nice and clean. Excellent affordable rates as well. Gated security. This will be our new go-to for us when traveling. One of the best we’ve ever been to! Plus the town is cool and has everything you need. Don’t hesitate!

Beautiful campground super clean and very friendly people. The bathrooms are cleanest I’ve ever seen at any campground. They are a very pet friendly place as well . We stayed 3 nights and extended it for 2 more nights. It rained about everyday but we were in town for decoration so we were busy doing all that. The pool and hot tub are beautiful as well and the tiki bar is awesome. Met Joey on our way out and he’s a super nice guy. We will be back again. We can’t wait to see the cabins that are being built as well. Keep up the great work.
