Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gadsden W-Near Attalla by IHG

Had to crash here one night on our way to Gatlinburg and we come in later, after midnight. The front desk staff was amazing. Rooms were clean and beds and linens were comfy and clean. Breakfast was our favorite part of course with a family of 6 and the dining worker, Ms Lady was phenomenal! She was so kind and helpful. Went above and beyond to help fix drinks and even cleaned up a mess with the best attitude when our kiddo accidentally knocked my coffee over. Highly recommend!

I am a platinum elite member who broke up a road trip for 1 night here based on the positive reviews at a glance. The rooms were horribly unclean. our first room we found a dead bed bug in the sheets. the night desk clerk was friendly and tried to remedy the situation by moving us. in the second room we were moved to, it was also unclean. stained sheets, stains in the carpeted floor, drain in the shower was clogged, desks were grimy with something. the manager didn’t even bother to reach out when I asked for one to. I just got the automated “here is 5K IHG points” email they send to everyone with a complaint. it seems that the employees care but the management is letting the building upkeep go downhill

Parkkng and our room & bathroom were clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Staff customer sevice was top notch and excellent. Katrina in the breakfast room is AMAZING! Absolutely the best person we encountered on our 8 day trip. She is the sunshine everyone needs in the morning.

This was a great hotel. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Fresh Coffee 24 hours a day. But the best part of this hotel was the sweet lady who made breakfast every morning. Shout out to Katrina! Girl, you rock! The kindest, sweetest, most joyful and friendly person on the planet. I hope management knows what a treasure they have in Katrina. I would come back to stay just to get to see her again. I travel for work and it isn’t often I feel like I made a friend at a hotel. She is a bright spot in this world and I hope she knows she has a fan in me!

Beds were not super clean, even less so the pull out. The location was great - right off the highway and a short walk to the cracker barrel next door. What made this place special was the staff. The lady running breakfast was an absolute gem and the best and most friendly staff I have met at any hotel. I didn't catch her name, but she carried the whole experience on her shoulders. Something really special.
