Tilbury Inn

This was truly one of the most horrid traveling experiences of mine and my friends life. The rooms itself were horrible and they didn't feel clean. We got two non smoking rooms and they smelled like smoke and weed. There was a flat sheet used as sheets and a very thin blanket with nothing else. The pillows were awful. One of the mattresses was normal, but the others were rock solid and uncomfortable. The chair present in the rooms were an office "swivel" chair, there was rust on the shower head, and water damage on the floor. Upon check in, the owner said we must give her a cash deposit. No where online did it say we were to provide a cash deposit and none of us had cash. When we tried to ask what the cash deposit was for she kept mumbling and would not give us a straight answer as to wha

The people here are absolutely amazing. They take care of you. The brooms are clean and brand new. Very calm peaceful place to be. It’s off in the cut and nobody bothers you and they take care of business. Very nice people very homey ! Absolute pleasure to stay at least 3 xs a week ! They are very kind people !

The rooms are not sou as it says on the website. The front door as a 2 in gap on the floor, you can her people in the other rooms. Place was a pretty shady place. If you asked for extra sheets it was a cost. The room had a sofa I requested more sheets as my 2 teenager boys did not want to sleep on the same bed. We were denied unless we paid. Parking was terrible the spaces were too small. The tv did not work, it turned on, but you were not able to switch channels all you saw was a picture on the screen. The room was not cleaned there was hair and stickers on the sheet not visible unless you are pre-cleaning as I do. The walls had boogers and poop stains on the walls. The smoke detector had no battery's. The ac only worked at night it was so hot in the daytime. They did not provide trash

Positive: The location and it was pretty quiet. No bed bugs or roaches like in previous reviews. Had a fridge and microwave. The fold out bed was nice. No back aches in the morning. The place was surprisingly good after all the bad reviews it got. Negative: There wasn’t any soap, shampoo, or conditioner in the containers in the shower. But there were travel size bottles left on the counter for us. There weren’t any wash cloths. The floor was a bit squishy. Not sure why. No ironing board or iron.

A very basic, clean, quiet, and comfortable room at an excellent value for the rate. A/C worked very well in the late summer heat and humidity. Has convenient on-site parking which is necessary as street parking is limited. Not the most convenient location for Glendale shopping and attractions, but is freeway adjacent and has great transit access. The upgraded bathroom fixtures and amenities are a definite plus. Staff is friendly and helpful, and assisted with booking an additional night's stay for my family at last minute notice.
