Brand Plaza Hotel

First of all, there is no "parking on premises". You'll be given a sort of ticket to park your car at some quite distant public parking lot on very dark street (no street lights at all!) with some crooks hanging around. I did not took this risk and easily found paid garage spece just in front of the hotel for just $19 for 24 hours! Great deal. The actual hotel is at the second floor, long steep stairway, no elevator. So you need to it if you need accessibility. Rooms look and smell very old and rundown. Windows face other building wall just a couple of feet away. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of one is the hotels place - close to many businesses so it is good if you have a business trip. Otherwise it makes no sense.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brand Plaza Hotel in Glendale is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, Arthur the receptionist is super kind, friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The location is perfect—close to restaurants, shopping, and easy access around Glendale and Los Angeles. Everything was smooth and hassle-free, and the hotel offers great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We liked this hotel very much and plan to stay there again. It is clean and well maintained. The rooms are not large but are very comfortable. In the same block as the hotel there is a Portos bakery with outdoor seating and many other restaurants. There is no elevator but we are fit enough to climb stairs and are fine with a bit of exercise. The filtered water dispenser in the lobby was appreciated.

The hotel is cute and conveniently located near restaurants and coffee shops, but the service significantly hurt the experience. One front desk employee was unprofessional and discourteous, and parking instructions were unclear—I was told to park behind Porto’s and received a ticket. The TV in my room didn’t work, and I was charged $10 for a soda that was listed at $2. Clear communication and pricing were lacking, which made the stay frustrating enough for us not to return for future stays in this city.

The location was great but… The hotel had a few shortcomings. First of all, my travel companion and I are in our late 60s. There was no elevator in the hotel, and we had to carry our luggage up a couple of flights of stairs just to get to the front desk! Parking was not convenient at all. The parking lots provided for the hotel, are around the block and down the street! No swimming pool, no free breakfast. The room was rather expensive considering all of the shortcomings. I would not advise staying here if you are older or have any physical disabilities. Also, the showerhead dripped all night! We did try several methods to get it to stop, to no avail. The only thing I really liked about the hotel was its location. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance.
