Jewel City Inn Glendale

For the most part I loved this little place. Its not the Biltmore but its a sweet little neighborhood motel. The room was clean and safe and thats all I cared about. I'd happily go back. Neal in the office was very kind. And the flowers all around were so cheery. Thank Jewel City Inn. Happy New Year. You helped make mine special.

The building is average looking with friendly manager. I had apartment 201 which was an upstairs unit. The white bedspread had stains on it, that looked like fecal stains from someone sitting on the white spread. The sheets were fine. The carpeting looked like it had not been shampooed in years. The sleeping area has two ceiling lights that were not working. Not so sure that the TV remote was working, but was able to work the TV using the on and off buttons. There were no light switches near the bed so I had to get out of bed to turn on and off the ceiling lights. The baseboards were very dirty and dusty. Spots on the walls. The headboard needed to be dusted. The bathroom had decent water pressure and sufficient hot water. The walls near the toilet and sink counter were full of spo

I stayed in the first-floor room for only one night. When I checked in, shampoo and conditioner containers were totally empty, and I had to go and ask the staff to refill it. Even though they say that rooms were recently remodeled, but I found one major problem when I got ready to go to bed, I saw some cockroaches flying all over the room. I saw one of them enter the room from beneath the entrance door. I checked under the door; there was a 1" opening under the entrance door.

|I went to Glendale to visit my daughter and grandchildren with my little daughter. The hotel is small, not very elegant, but very clean and the kindness of Mr. Patel was very excellent. I liked the tranquility around it since it is located in a residential area. I am also very grateful to the cleaning lady, who by the way I would like all clients to leave her a tip for the work she does in that place.|As a suggestion, I would say that they put night lamps and a small coffee maker, it would be great. 5 stars for value! Would recommend if you’re on a budget. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in my life and there are a lot of good things to say about my stay here based on all the experiences I’ve had. First of all, I really appreciated the service. Everyone was very nice. Next, I loved that we always had parking even though it was the weekend. Finally, I couldn’t believe how big our room was compared! Lots of space. I will be honest and say you get what you pay for with this place. If you want a 5 star hotel, this is not the place and the area does look a little rough but we still felt very safe here. We didn’t hear anything crazy at night and no one bothered us. It was a good location to let us explore LA as well without paying a lot of money for a hotel. There are some good food options n
