Thunderbird Motel

It's a fun spot when you need a cheap room near savannah, some of the rooms are decent but some need some work. It's a good spot if you aren't overly picky about having a fancy room. If you just want a place for the night to sleep and shower it's just fine, however I wouldn't recommend if you are travelling with kids or are super picky.

Booked this through expedia thinking it was the Thunderbird Inn because that’s the name it was under on the site. When we arrived we were informed that didn’t realize we had a reservation, so they booked our room to someone else. They sent us across the street to another motel they own, the Deluxe Inn, which is genuinely the worst motel I’ve ever stepped foot in. Disgusting, unsafe, and we left pretty much immediately.

Don’t stay here. The room was uncleaned. someone left a bottle of vagisil in the shower with duct tape on the floors. Dirty tampons and trash behind the toilet. Smelled horrible. Dirty floor. No curtains just a blanket they hung up. The worst part was my door didn’t even properly shut and lock. I asked front desk for a new room and was told “no one will go in there” I left. I had to find a new hotel. It was unsettling. dark energy. Bad vibes.

Appalling. Advertising online under the name of a different site in town, rooms don't match their descriptions, and the place is filthy. Curtains are pock marked and taped together, bedding not clean, wall sockets are either burnt or pulled open by previous tenants, just an atrocious environment and one that doens't match the advertising. Staff refuse a refund but I still had to go stay somewhere else. On the note of the staff, the first room they gave me was actually someone else's and had all their belongings inside. Second room was nearly a polar opposite of advertisement. Showed the booking page to the staff, they gave me a third room which hadn't been cleaned (towels hanging up drying, bed recenrly used, an item of clothing on the floor) and finally fourth room I gave up and told the
