Thunderbird Lodge

We're so thankful for this place! It's super cozy/homey. The rooms are very clean with incredibly thoughtful amenities (..that actually work)! Its peaceful presence feels safe and it has been very quiet here, yet locationally, we're still adjacent to everything. I can work smoothly with their wifi.. unexpected surprise. The price is just unbelievable considering their worth. Please also note.. the office has immaculent customer service. What a lil diamond in the rough! Incredibly Grateful!

Thunderbird Lodge is a hidden Gem. The manager is so nice and caring, comfort, cleanliness, and excellent customer service. The parking is well lit secure and the area is quiet and felt safe. The rooms a nice, clean plenty hot water, clean towels, soft toilet paper, coffee maker. and a Great Price !!! I would stay again anytime. I give it 5 Stars for one of the old great motor lodges.

From the moment I submitted my reservation online, my pleasurable experience began. The front desk agent called me to confirm my reservation and to offer any assistance needed for my stay. In spite of reading great reviews online, I was skeptical about staying somewhere unfamiliar to me. I am pleased to say that all went well, and that I will definitely be staying again when in town. The room was exceptionally clean and well stocked with towels. To my surprise, there was a Keurig and real coffee mugs in the room! The beds were comfortable and so were the fluffy pillows. It was so nice to be able to park right outside of our room, which added to our feelings of safety and ease of accessibility. Thank you Mel and Thunderbird Lodge for a wonderful experience while in town!

Very clean room! Mel is a great hostess. She even came up to our room to check on us and brought a treat for my chihuahua, also she is mailing my spider plant babies to me! You can’t go wrong staying here. It will be a regular stop for us on our trips to Louisiana. Thank you so much Mel😊

Aw we love this local place to stay in Norman. The staff are AMAZING! And the location is to varying degrees under constructions over the years, but always very very pleasant to visit. Would recommend to all, with caveat of keeping an open mind on perhaps a bit out of the ordinary accommodations due to renovations, etc.
