Sooner Suites

Stayed here for a summer, decent place overall but ran into problems with the hot water 3 different times. One time, it was cold showers for a week straight. Also, there seems to be a bug problem. The hot plate couldn't boil water, which wouldn't be a big problem for someone here for a short time, but living with that for 3 months was rough. Additionally, the OU freshman move-in occurred while I was staying here, effectively closing off the access to the suites for a day. There was no prior warning from the office! All that to say, the AC worked and the beds were comfy, and the cleaning staff were very nice.

I stayed here for three night in February 2012, the multiple building are only two stories, the entire property is full of OU memorabilia. I was in the Adrian Peterson suite which encompassed two separate rooms, half was a bedroom with a full bath plus a living room with a full bath. The bed was extremely comfortable, the tv's were new flat screens- plenty of space.||||The onsite restaurant has a poor breakfast bar, but the dinner menu of steak, brisket or ribs were all excellent. The desserts were large enough for a family. The bar is large with plenty of tv's, pool tables and darts. Cool hotel with a unique concept!

Stayed here while visiting for a job interview at the University of Oklahoma. I was able to get an early check in which was very much appreciated after a long, early day of travel. The first thing that I noticed was the whole suite was clean. Yes, it’s a bit dated of a facility but I had a great experience. I did not have someone staying in the attached room of 414. For the most part it was very quiet. The frat house next door did play some VERY loud music the second evening. Although I did not use the kitchenette it was a nice bonus. If I’m the area again I would look into staying here. Boomer Sooner!!

We are over the moon excited with this place! VERY clean rooms. Love the suites. The fact that we can put the kids in the living area with their own bathroom was an added bonus! Love the attention to details they put into making our stay the very best. The hot breakfast was just an extra surprise!

My family has been hosting the NAACP Softball Tournament here for 35 years. The staff are ALWAYS wonderful! The suits are so clean and neat. It's such an awesome place for all occasions. Right on OU campus so you're close to everything. 2 bedroom, 1 bath, living room, dining room, and kitchen. They serve breakfast every morning in the office. You get complimentary coffee, wifi, and cable in each suit.
