Hampton Inn & Suites Norman Conference Center Area

The staff was friendly and breakfast was usually hot and nice. Although the yogurt is sitting out at room temp and had gone sour. The ladies who came to clean our room were super sweet and efficient. The room was clean. The elevators worked. The parking lot was nice.

Positive: The staff, all very professional and friendly Negative: I would have liked a little more variety for the hotel breakfast. If you're there for a day or two the same thing each day is fine. If you stay any longer and not have transportation it gets very old very fast.

I was a little disappointed in the quality of my room. I've stayed at Hampton Inn's many times. The bed, while comfortable, made loud squeaking and popping noises any time I moved. It would wake me up when trying to sleep. I was in a room with 2 queen beds, and both beds had the exact same issue. I don't know if the frame the mattress was on was broken, or what was going on. ||The hotel was very clean. My room was clean as well as the breakfast area. Front desk staff were courteous. The hotel backs up to University of Oklahoma's airport so it was kind of neat to be able to watch planes take off and land. The first thing I noticed when I entered this hotel was that it is VERY clean. It smelled and looked clean, both. The hotel associates were always very friendly. Breakfast was always good. Perfect location as it is only a few miles from where I was training, at Johnson Controls. Within a mile of several great restaurants and stores. Also, I want to compliment Justin, the manager here. I had a small issue that I brought to his attention and he handled it very professionally and truly listened to what I had to say. That left me with a great impression and made me happy with the overall experience. Also, Kayla was very nice, as she always smiled and greeted me when I walked by.

Kayla and her team went above and beyond for me. I arrived last night as a very cranky, exhausted traveler, and they handled me with such grace and patience. I truly appreciate it. The room was fabulous, and the next morning I was greeted with a warm smile from Kayla and her team. Thank you so much for making everything better and turning my stay around. I’m so grateful.
