Great park. Pretty busy in early March already so get your reservations in as early as possible. Great camp hosts and personnel. The 2 lane road coming in and out is pretty tight so beware.
Turtle Beach resort was a great place to stay in Manteca, CA. We had a terrible time connecting on the phone because we were given the wrong number by the Thousand Trails main reservation person, so we went straight there as soon as we got into town. Lyra, in the office was super nice and very helpful. She answered all our questions, booked us in a site right then and gave us her cell phone number just in case we needed anything else. |The park is clean and the sites are level and spacious. The bathrooms are clean and heated!|There are lots of trails around the park and leading to the water. We look forward to returning in the warmer months and kayaking on the lake.
Returning to Turtle Beach-part of the Thousand Trails preserves the span the United States, I was happy to know that full hookups were available. We love this RV park because the staff is among the most welcoming and friendly we've encountered. They make this preserve a friendly and peaceful oasis close to exciting night-life, attractions, and shopping, yet quiet enough to lounge and fish the lazy river that surrounds it. Good cellular service so whether you need to work, play, or rest - this is the place to do it.
This is a very nice park and the staff are some of the best we have ever met. The park is clean and well kept with staff running around taking care of it all the time. Sites are clean and very large.. Only bad thing was the assigned sites. We are a 40ft 50amp motorhome and have been there twice. Both times we have been put in a 30amp site when smaller 30amp rigs are put in the 50amp area. Not the parks fault just the way the system is I guess. I will be writing TT to see if they can fix this but wont hold my breath. All in all we love this park and will stay again.
This is one of the best locations we have found with Thousand Trails.||The site were very large and really clean. The restroom/showers were the cleanest I have ever seen. Family that stayed with us could not get over how clean and warm the restrooms were.
