I had a really great experience staying at Baymont by Wyndham Manteca. Honestly, I booked it kind of last-minute and didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I checked in. The room was clean and comfortable, and a lot more spacious than I expected. The bed was super cozy, and it was nice having a mini-fridge and microwave which definitely came in handy. Everything worked just fine, including the Wi-Fi and AC, which is always a plus. What really made the stay stand out was the staff. I am extremely disappointed and concerned about our stay at this hotel. We went out for a while, and when we returned to our room, a housekeeper was inside. After that, we checked our belongings and realized my debit card was missing and all the cash from my bag had disappeared. Some other valuable items were also gone. This made us feel completely unsafe and uncomfortable. A hotel room is supposed to be private and secure. Guests should not have to worry about their personal belongings being taken. The situation caused us a lot of stress and frustration. We trusted this hotel with our safety, and that trust was broken.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We left our room for a short time, and when we returned, a housekeeper was inside without informing us . After checking our belongings, my debit card was missing and all the cash from my bag was gone. Some expensive items were also missing. This is extremely serious. Guests should feel safe, but we felt violated. I would never stay here again. Very unsafe and unprofessional.
