Beautiful hotel with very high end, modern classy decor. The rooftop bar is unreal offering a beautiful sunset. Don't sleep on the mezze platter with oven bread! The happy hour at the bar on floor one is wonderful. Shower pressure is fabulous. Very functional design in the rooms. The pillows were not my favorite and I had a hard time getting to sleep the first night until I stacked them just right (lol). Hospitable staff and nice location if you don't mind walking 20 minutes to the active Savannah scene. I definitely would come back and loved the stay!

A most excellent stay, from easy and informed check in, to an incredibly clean and comfortable room. The bedding and pillows are excellent, electronics are all updated and working as expected. The bathroom layout is terrific with good privacy, a really unique shower situation, and incredible water pressure in the rainfall shower head!|The property is very well managed and definitely conveys an impression of luxury, much more boutique than you’d expect from a huge chain like Hyatt. The grounds are expansive with lots of outdoor seating and play areas, and with direct access to river walk, an enjoyable outdoor experience amongst the Savannah hotel options.|We booked as part of AMEX FHC program and the check-in representative was well versed in the program and explained all the options. We loved staying at The Thompson Savannah! The hotel is pretty, very clean and the staff is wonderful! It’s a bit off the main street with all the shops and restaurants, but very easy to get to places. They even have a complimentary driver that can drive you to and from places within a 3 mile radius. The front desk staff was wonderful, going over and above to check you in, and recommend lovely places close by to visit. A+!

Positive: The staff was incredible. Everyone we had contact with did a great job promoting the hotel and the city. Negative: The hotel is a bit of a walk to the downtown area. They do have a house car and shuttles are available. We did all three.

Had a great experience at the Thompson hotel. My husband & I visited this location for Valentines Day & enjoyed every minute. The aesthetics were nice, it’s very clean. It’s a short walk to the heart of the Savannah Downtown eateries & bars. They also offer transportation accommodations. Would definitely return.
