Thomas Point Beach & Campground

Went for their open house. We look forward to what the new owners have planned for this beautiful property full of potential. Hard to find good places to go with big RVs. We're excited to return next year.

Their policies and behavior are outrageous! Our organization reserved group camping last year. Then, as the summer season got closer, they double-booked a much larger (more lucrative) festival. And had the nerve to say that our group could only come if we PAID to attend the festival!! People in our group had arranged vacations and other trips around the event, but there's no way they should have to pay twice ... for our own planned activities PLUS the one the campground double-booked. Their explanation was that we "would still hear the music." How can anyone stay in business like this???!!? ||We were forced to cancel our event, because we're not about to make our members pay twice. The management here should be ashamed of themselves.

Drove out hoping to cool off, but found the gate closed and learned the beach is only accessible with a camping reservation. It wasn’t clearly listed anywhere ahead of time. Saw others show up and turn around too. On a hot day, it’s hard knowing this beautiful shoreline isn’t publicly accessible. Hoping for more transparency—and more shared spaces for everyone to enjoy.

This used to be a beautiful public beach - now barricaded off and apparently sold off. In what world is it OK to prevent locals from accessing public land? Call your representatives NOW. This is unacceptable. Corporate greed is sick.

Tried to visit twice this summer and the entrance was barricaded off both times. No indication online that there would not be public access to the beach.
