Comfort Inn Brunswick

We had flown into Boston and arrived at 2 pm for a NE trip starting in Maine. We stayed here for one night on our way to Bar Harbor. The room was average size. Beds were OK. The hotel could use a makeover to be honest! The bathroom was old with damages to the sink and tub. The room smelled musty. It was dark when we arrived there - after 8 pm so I called the front desk around 4 that afternoon to say we would have a late arrival. The person answering the phone acted like I was inconveniencing them! He said I'll be all night long until 7 a.m. so get here when you want to. The breakfast was fine - standard continental type breakfast. I'm not sure I would stay here again. It definitely wasn't worth the price we paid for one night!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It was more than what I expected from a Comfort Inn. Towels with thick and fluffy, bed was super comfy and I had a real comforter on the bed, not just a thin blanket. Breakfast had lots of options. I arrived at 7 pm with no reservation and was able to book second to last empty room. For hotel options between Brunswick and Bath, this was a great choice for the price. I’d stay here again.

The Comfort Inn Brunswick Me is just that; a big huge comfort. We are always greeted enthusiastically by whoever is on the desk, most recently it was Zack! We have been a guest of this Comfort Inn for years and can't say enough positive things about the staff, the rooms, the service etc. The location is perfect for us as we visit our children nearby. One huge benefit is the excellent snow removal and sanding that is done immediately when there is cold precipitation. Strict security is enforced and we never worry about our belongings. Despite the 'new' management a year or 2 ago, Brad the Manager is still there(thank goodness) along with other wonderful staff members. At our recent visit, on a frigid afternoon, there was a delicious hot soup in the lobby as part of the welcome. How great is

The front desk guy (I'm bad with names) was very friendly and informative. There was free turkey chili out and when I expressed my surprise and delight, he told us that's something they do for their customers in the winter on Fridays and Saturdays so that was nice. The room was comfortable. I really liked that they have shampoo, conditioner and lotion attached to the bathroom wall. I like that this saves plastic compared to the other option and I was happy to have enough product for my hair. The only suggestion I have to make is that they find a way to make the door to the outside not slam shut - It was very loud so we could hear it from our room.

The place was very nice. Clean and Comfortable. The staff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The reason we stayed was because we had a 5 hour drive to Bar Harbor and this was right in the middle of our trip. The other reason was we wanted to eat at the Dolphin Marina and Restuarant, which was at the very tip of the coast line. Everything was perfect that day.
