The Brunswick Hotel

A very nice hotel. When I first heard about the Brunswick Hotel, I didn’t think much about it. It seemed like a random motel on the side of the road. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s small, yes, but very cozy and modern feeling. It feels sort of like a mini resort where you can stay a few nights and just enjoy yourself. It’s very affordable and not even $150 per night, but don’t let that make you think it’s junky. The place has nice rooms, a cozy atmosphere, a few lounges with magazines and puzzles, and even its own restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant, I ordered the steak frites and it was delicious. The steak was tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare, with a smoky finish. My only complaint for the restaurant, which is actually my only complaint for the place at all,

BEAUTIFUL Hotel and Suite!|The mattress was THE BEST MATTRESS we've slept on! It was so comfortable, and the bedding was great too. Everything was clean, spacious, and they included extra pillows, a blanket, 2 robes, and extra towels. There was a mini-frig, Keurig Coffee maker, and 2 bottled waters. The room was updated, and had Quartz countertops in the bathroom, kitchenette, on the TV cabinet, dresser, and end tables. |The staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking, a nice restaurant onsite. Great location, next to Bowdoin College, which has a gorgeous campus.|The only suggestion I have for such a nice hotel is to include a magnifying make-up mirror in the bathroom, which would be helpful for those of us with poor eyesight and/or for those that are shorter and can't get close u

Positive: Room is clean upon checking in and very comfortable Negative: We asked for the room to be cleaned but when we returned after a long day out, it had not been touched. Front desk stated that housekeeping marked the room as cleaned.

Very nicely kept independent hotel in the perfect location to visit Bowdoin and downtown Brunswick. The hotel is in top condition and the room was nicely decorated and immaculately clean. Beds are comfortable. The in-hotel restaurant offers delicious breakfast options. The hotel is on the corner of campus and the edge of Main Street Brunswick and so convenient we walked everywhere, even in February!

The hotel is absolutely stunning! As soon as you walk in, the smell is so refreshing and welcoming. After a long drive, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was delicious! Our room was immaculate, spotless and so cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable; we slept in the next morning without meaning to. The only small downside (very small) was that the TV was a bit tricky to work, but honestly, we didn’t mind because we just wanted to relax and enjoy that amazing bed. Definitely a hotel you must stay in!
