The Wyman Hotel

Loved this historical hotel! The Wyman has been very thoughtfully remodeled. We stayed in room 15 which is a second floor king. The hotel was built in 1902 and I think this is something to keep in mind with any western hotels. The bathroom was tiny but comfortable and well decorated. The bath products were wonderful. There was a refrigerator and radiant heater that made the room cozy. The check-in/out process is seamless and contactless (if that’s important to you) they send a text with a front door code and punch code to the hotel room. That said the hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and felt comfortable to be in. The Wyman is not a 5-star hotel and Silverton is more like a Western outpost, so if you’re here for luxury this isn’t your spot… If you w

Believe the glowing reviews, this place is a gem! It was our first time staying in Silverton, but won’t be our last now that we know the Wyman is an option. We received impeccable service from Victor over the course of our 2-night stay. He was the best host, bartender, and conversationalist. There was a cozy community environment in the lobby. We felt like we made new friends at the quaint bar while chatting and enjoying the best cocktails!! My husband was even able to get some work done in the lobby before the day got started. Super clean rooms, comfy beds, magical views, and modern decor with a vintage flare. Loved the lack of TVs in the room which forced open windows to let fresh air in and time to disconnect from the noise. We are moving to Durango soon and will be looking forward to

The stay was incredible! The hotel is cool and vibey and the coffee was so so good. A bonus and most places don’t have the opportunity for good coffee. The bar is a vibe, the whole thing was awesome. The staff is so cool and helpful. Will def be back!

I really enjoyed the room, location, and toiletries that this hotel offers. The owner and manager also upgraded up upon arrival which I greatly appreciated. The bar was also very cozy and inviting. Very good coffee in the morning as well! Very personable boutique feeling!

I had a wonderful stay at the Wyman Hotel. Although there is not really a formal "lobby" in this particular establishment, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and allowed to check in early, which was very kind of her. The hotel's vibe is hip but understated; minimalist but stylish. Everything was perfect. My room felt very chic and contemporary, with nice high ceilings, very attractive decor, an excellent bathroom/shower, and a super-comfortable bed. Very quiet, too. And it was clean as a whistle. The staff were all super-helpful and warm. In fact, the Wyman is everything I want in a hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Silverton.
