Teller House Hotel

I booked last minute on Hotels.com so they didn't anticipate my stay. I called the number provided for any assistance and the woman was very kind and made us feel right at home! There is hot chocolate and hot coffee for these fridged days. A fridge stocked with water, a microwave, toiletries, soft pillows, and plenty of warm comfy blankets! I'm traveling with my adult son so Iwas especially happy to have this room with wool blankets & cooler colors. 🤣 Thank you for a safe, warm bed this holiday weekend!

Not a review writer, but I have to this time. We were in Central City for an Opera House matinee performance, decided to stop at the Teller House for lunch. What a mistake, and not even sure where to start. The service generally, and especially the arrogant and absent bartender, was abysmal. The food was barely mediocre and greatly over-priced. Please do yourself a favor and ignore the self-serving hype from this place, which is so unfortunate given its wonderful history.

I recommend this hotel. It's reminiscent of a time gone by. It's comfortable and perfectly located to walk everywhere in Silverton. I enjoyed the minimalist approach while not skimping on amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive and Delaney, the hotel manager is great! A young entrepreneur who goes the extra mile to ensure your needs are met. Thank you!

Beautiful vintage hotel weather perfect. Nice enough to sleep with no a/c or heat with windows open. Clean room comfy bed and shower robes available for us. Coffee available for all guest and location central to all the shops. Only downside was since we are traveling with a one year shower situation wasn’t ideal we had to share our bathroom since we stayed in room 10. (Room 1 and 10 share bathrooms) located across from front desk and coffee bar. Better than no bathroom. But best place for the price! Absolutely beautiful area and kind people everywhere.
