The Windjammer

We have been coming to OBX for 20 plus years and this was by far the worst property I've been to. Not because of the actual accommodations but mostly the Windjammer people itself. The people in this area are extremely rude, dismissive and the most unwelcoming property we have been to yet. We felt stress all week and as if we should've just shut ourselves in the property and not go out and do things as a family all week for fear of excessive complaints because of our dog. They accommodated our dog due to a mishap and false advertisement and didn't notify us about the error until a week of our booking. He wasn't destroying anything, we cleaned up after him, we ended up buying stuff to try to help him stay as calm as possible because they were complaining about him barking. The lack of commun

This resort is stuck in the 60’s. My unit was all paneling. The carpet was utterly disgusting and It smells horrendous. It appears as though it’s never been cleaned. The kitchen is in a tiny hole. You can barely walk into it. I would not recommend to anyone to book here. In my opinion, RCI needs to remove this resort from their site.I was highly disappointed when I checked in and went to the unit. I can’t!!!!!! Beware of these websites when booking. If you have a problem with steps I would not recommend this locations. The bedrooms are upstairs and they need some updating to the units. Location was good, Noise was loud from children running back and forth in front of the rooms in cowboy boats. This was not a problem with the facility only the parents need to correct their children. Could not see ocean except a piece of it from the master bedroom. I would stay here again but know to bring my hair dryer and a few other things.

This is not Interval International Quality time shares!! We had roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. The place was Very outdated, decor and furnishings. Has not been kept up very well. Shower was stained, mildew in most bathroom areas. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Couch was uncomfortable as well. Walls were buckling from water damage. Window/Door locks were deteriorated..carpets worn out, sliding doors were so hard to get open. I'll be calling Interval International to request a refund for our week there.

Nice to hear the ocean ! Great view of sunrise. Legacy timeshare great for family and friends. Close to grocery and restaurants.
