Holiday Inn Express Nags Head Oceanfront by IHG

We stayed in an ocean front room from Wed to Sat Oct 29 - Nov 1, 2025. Our room was clean & comfortable. Freezer worked great to refreeze our ice pack for traveling! Vickie was the lady who took care of the breakfast buffet every morning & she was awesome! Very friendly & went above & beyond in her work ethics making sure everything was clean & well stocked. The breakfast choices were very nice too - especially loved the coffee machine that ground each cup fresh. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely love staying at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nags Head Oceanfront! You truly cannot beat the location!!! You park, walk a few steps, go up a short set of stairs, and BAM… you’re literally on the beach. It’s perfect 🙌 The breakfast buffet always comes in clutch in the mornings with tasty omelets and a great variety of breakfast meats (BACON 🥓) that change daily. Such a great way to start beach days and keep us full until dinner time! Our room was always clean and well-maintained, and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. This hotel consistently delivers comfort, convenience, and amazing hospitality. We can’t wait to stay here again! It’s our go to spot in Nags Head! 🌞🏖️

Limited hotel options were available when we decided to go to OBX for Thanksgiving. We booked this one and hoped for the best. Covered parking available, pleasant staff, clean and comfortable room. Typical size refrigerator, but the freezer was large enough for our ice packs. Nice beach access. We would definitely stay here again.

We have been visiting the Outer Banks for many years. Celebrating my husband's birthday this stay. This is the first time staying at the Holiday Inn. The room was very nice, balcony overlooking the ocean. The bed was very comfortable; the shower was wonderful. One thing that we noticed was how quiet it was. You cannot hear the other guest. We both enjoy the ocean and were not disappointed. Breakfast was an added bonus. Loved the location.

We stayed here for our vacation in Nags Head. It looked as though the rooms went through recent renovations. They were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The foods available during breakfast were varied. Bonus: the coffee is freshly ground. You can walk to the beach from the hotel. Heads up: There is only one room available with a bathtub, all others have walk-in showers.
