Surf Side Hotel

My husband and I came here to relax between Christmas and New Year’s. We love staying here. The rooms are always clean. The breakfast is great. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We enjoy the cookies at 8:00. The indoor pool is a plus. We take advantage of the sunset view even if it is cold we bundle up and go out on the deck because it is worth it. I have recommended this location to co-workers and friends.

Stayed off season - reasonable rates. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean, breakfast included, wine tasting in the evening, beautiful Christmas decorations and my husband’s favorite - chocolate chip cookies as a snack before bed. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, corn hole boards and washer/dryer onsite for guests. Access to the beach from the pool area- little difficult if you have trouble with balance or walking issues in the sand. Very quiet and relaxing!

Surf Side Hotel is wonderful! This is our favorite hotel anywhere. Our go to when we are in the OBX. Jason and Elvia were so helpful and their Christmas Decorations made you feel like you were home for the holidays! The rooms are always so clean and the views are amazing no matter which room you’re in. The breakfast was better than any Hilton breakfast they make you pay for. Looking forward to our next visit!

The view was amazing, but MOLDY BATHROOM!!! There was mold underneath the sink and the shower curtain smelled! The room was clean, but not dust the best. My husband had booked the hotel for my birthday. Not knowing till we were there, the ocean and bacteria and wasn't safe to get in!! Hotel should of said something about that to guest and saw no info about it anywhere at the hotel either. The free wine/snacks, wine is nasty... The breakfast was good, need a sign saying don't help yourself....one lady was grumpy about that. Hotel is WAY OVER PRICED!!! When checking out, I told the lady about the mold, said she would tell management, housecleaning and militance.
