Great idea for the building! However our ac would not work and the windows wouldn’t open so it was quite warm. We finally found a fan but still too warm. Then we could never get the tv to connect to the WiFi so we did not get to watch any tv.
Staying at The Lofts was worth the trip to Walsenberg. The property is absolutely charming. It has enough feminine touches to make me gush, and the exposed brick and wood added a solidness to it. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and the host is quick to respond to questions or needs. Oh and I must exclaim how yummy the food is at the Mercantile- they have gluten free and vegan options too. Bonus!
The room was immaculate, comfortable and well equipped. The people could not have been more helpful. The food court downstairs is a bonus and they will accommodate requests for early breakfasts (after 7 am).
We stopped here on the way to Texas and the lofts are absolutely adorable. All of the original building charm and character, but with all the modern luxuries. And so clean. Would definitely stay again!
Great rooms with all the amenities you could hope for. Everything you could need all in one location with the mercantile and restaurant downstairs.
