Anchor Motel

Even through town a bunch but never had an opportunity to stay here. Reached out on our way back from the Pacific Northwest on the Harleys. Nichole was super friendly and accommodating. Took our reservation and told us to be safe. |On arrival room was ready, very biker friendly. Large room, bright LED lights and good AC. Clean, comfortable! Great rates too! Towels for the bikes and a car wash less than a block away. ||The hotel is quaint, retro motor court style with actual neon lights! (Go Route 66) cool town and good access to I 25 if that’s your thing.

The owners are terrific. Very friendly and accomodating. Rooms are small (cozy) but they are always clean. Great location. We've stopped here several times and are never disappointed.

Love this place. If you’re reading this I’ll make it simple for you - book a room. Very economical so stop searching. Rooms are freshly remodeled. Route 66 old renovated style. Husband/wife live in office residence on property. Well kept grass and property. No road noise while sleeping. I slept well and thought it was a fun experience as opposed to a more expensive, plain, modern chain.

Stayed at this family-owned motel located at the South Entrance to Walsenburg. Stayed for two nights. Room was very clean. The bathroom cloudless not have been cleaner. Had an excellent air conditioner after a hot summer day. Very nice larger television with Roku. The bed was amazingly comfortable. You couldn’t ask for friendlier owners in the Husband and Wife who own it. Had my high school reunion last weekend and I enjoyed my stay at the Anchor Motel. Oh, and fantastic rate, too!

Great price, friendly and helpful owners and staff. Room was clean with fridge and microwave. High pressure shower was awesome after a long day, with lots of hot water. Air conditioning was nice. Close to everything in town. Will definitely stay here again.
