The Westin Tempe

Great trip with just my daughter and I. She was visiting friends at ASU. Loved the rooftop pool, but they could use more seats. If you don’t go out early it’s hard to get one. Room was very clean and customer service was great, especially valet!The best part of this hotel is definitely the location. It is close to everything and you can pretty much walk everywhere in anywhere you need to go. Whether it’s a grocery store, restaurant, grabbing a drink or a coffee it’s there. On that note, if you are looking for a quiet place and not the hustle and bustle of an active college town this probably wouldn’t be for you.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I was there the weekend of January 24th which was my birthday and I absolutely loved it! 17th floor, corner rooms people! That is the place to BE! The view was amazing, the food was delicious (my mom had a board brought up) 😊 My husband and I enjoyed our stay through and through! I will say....that stand up, glass encased shower and bathroom were to die for! As a 6'4, muscular, lanky guy, it was absolutely refreshing to be able to stretch h my arms out, and really get into the steaminess of my shower 🤤 I'll be honest I spend like an hour in that shower. I am poor, don't judge me 🤣 Overall it was an amazing stay and I would love to make another plan next year in 2027! Thank you to all of the staff again! What a wonderful hotel. There are a lot of choices of places to stay in downtown Tempe, but I think the Westin is the best of the best. From the time we pulled up and the valet was genuine and helpful, through check in and our entire stay- the service here is first class. Our two rooms overlooked "A" mountain and were comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar are a real treat- we had a lovely afternoon up there. Even in December the weather in Tempe is fantastic, so it can be enjoyed year round.||The onsite bar and restaurant are also great.. and it's nice to have a ton of places within walking distance to enjoy, too. We loved it here and would definitely stay again the next time we're in Tempe. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Rooms were great and modern. Plenty of space to unpack and unwind in your room. Bathroom was very modern as well. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly, however, you can quickly go thirsty in the Terra Tempe Kitchen and Spirits. Both times I have stayed here over the past 6 months, city is doing a lot of construction shutting down access. Walking distance to “A” Mountain and ASU facilities.

I recently stayed at The Westin Tempe and had very mixed feelings about the experience. The property itself is beautiful. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, and the location is convenient for getting around Tempe and the surrounding area. The rooftop and common spaces are especially nice, and overall the hotel has the potential to deliver a really strong guest experience. Unfortunately, the stay was overshadowed by an extremely negative interaction with a staff member named Hannah Tucker. The tone and approach came across as rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Rather than helping resolve a simple question, the interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily confrontational.
