Homewood Suites By Hilton Phoenix Tempe ASU Area

The hotel location is nice, being right next to Tempe marketplace and close to a walking/biking path you can go a lot of places without getting in a car. The breakfast is good, and stuff seemed nice when we needed to interact. My room was tired…stains on carpet, cupboards not closing completely, etc., and the walls are very thin. I am a light sleeper so being able to hear a conversation on the other side of my headboard made it difficult to sleep.

The room was spacious with fully equipped kitchen but they really need to work on their cleaning and housekeeping. The sofa and chair were old, uncomfortable and stained. The room looked clean but you can tell that it was not done properly (no attention to details and hidden areas). They offer every other day housekeeping which basically meant taking garbage out and replacing the towels. They didn’t even make the beds or clean the kitchen. The location is very good and the staff were friendly. It is kid friendly with a basketball court and nice outdoor seating area. This place would be much better if they have a better housekeeping.

We stayed here for 3 nights after driving our daughter’s car out to her. Great staff… great location.. very clean. Breakfast was very good.. They have a pool, basketball court and cornhole.

Positive: "" Negative: Hilton changed their pet policy to allow for cats. I'm HIGHLY allergic. Woke up to my eyes swollen shut and massive headache. Chair and bedding looked like a cat sharpened its claws on it. We will no longer be Hilton patrons given their policy change.

I haven't had a hotel kitchenette that has a stovetop burner. That to me is such a crazy unique detail. TV's have a greeting screen when you walk in and the room was very clean and tidy. The complimentary breakfast is on the lower tier of hotel breakfasts in my opinion, but they have a good selection every day. Just something to look out for.
