The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa

This was a beautiful resort with such amazing potential. From the website, we felt it would be a wonderful place for a couple days to lounge by the pool, have lunch outdoors overlooking the lake, and booking a spa appointment. The grounds were stunning.||But after we checked in and started exploring the resort, we were shocked to find that it was basically a ghost town with nearly everything closed. We returned to the desk to ask why and were told that it was off season. It was 90 degrees out, but off season?! So we went over to the Hilton nearby to see if it was any different there and they said the same thing - it was just a really quiet time of year for them. I did get the explanation that they tend to only be busy if the strip is so busy that people have to stay further outside the cit

BED BUGS! We were bit by bed bugs and showed them to the front desk staff and they changed out room, but did not issue a refund for the stay. The carpet on floor four is worn and there is a sewage smell that wafts through the air. The renovated floor seven isn't all that nice. The arcade is a bit of a disappointment. The pool is nice enough, however the beach access was blocked and the hot tub was drained. Valet parking was unusable during the weekend. However, the take away from our stay is bed bugs!!!

Hello my name is Lalita i stayed in Room 8141 01/18/2026 This amazing hotel is all i have ever asked for. Nice Clean room, we had dinner and breakfast, good food amazing staff. The view from room and we had a walk through the lake was amazing. my grandkids had so much fun. AGM Lucy, she was amazing, helpful. All staff were awesome. I will definitely come back with my family's soon. Thank you all so very much.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. While it’s beginning to show a bit of its age, it still offers excellent value and a memorable experience. The kids had an amazing time enjoying the beach, pools, waterslide, water polo, and a variety of other amenities. There are also plenty of nearby activities like boating, water sports, and golf.One disappointment was that the hot tub—my personal favorite—was closed during our stay.We’ve stayed at both the Hilton and the Westin at Lake Las Vegas. The Hilton feels a bit more upscale, but the Westin offers more fun. The Lake Las Vegas area itself is absolutely gorgeous, though it’s quite a distance from the main Las Vegas Strip.If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic escape—perfect for families or couples—this is a great choice. Fabulous property, beautiful hotel. The lake, the pools it's all very nice. They have dinning on the property. Just the rooms are quite dated, even though they say recent renovations seems 90's. The staff was excellent! My room was cooler than I like, couldn't seem to get the get the heat to work. They sent their maintenence engineer and he got us warmed up in no time. Ya, I'd stay here again.
