Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas/Henderson

Our a/c went out and we needed a place for the night (repair could not be done until the next day and we live a mile or so from this hotel). Have driven past tons of times and booked here. Got an incredibly warm welcome and the room was really comfortable with a fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker - what more could you ask for? Nice little bar which does happy hour. Did not try the food but others seemed to be enjoying their meals. Highly recommend for anyone needing to stay in the Henderson area (or who wants to go to the Strip but not stay there). There are also some excellent nearby "local" restaurants: BabyStacks (excellent for breakfast, practically around the corner), Kungfu Noodle (outside the Galleria mall - authentic hand-pulled noodles, great soups). Huge shout out to Noehma and Savvy at the front desk for making our stay seamless, enjoyable, and always going above and beyond! Fantastic customer service and that comes from a fellow former front desk agent. Overall super friendly staff and great choice for a stay in Henderson if life for whatever reason takes you there!

I’m beyond disappointed in this Hilton. I’ve been a regular guest for over a year and have always had smooth, contactless stays. I book through the app, check in the day before, confirm my saved payment info, pick my room, and get my digital key, all without ever needing to visit the front desk. This time, however, my digital key wouldn’t load, so I had to go to the desk, only the second time ever, I’ve had to do that here. And that’s where everything went downhill. The first staff member I spoke with flat-out lied to my face, saying I wasn’t checked in, even as I was literally showing him my check-in confirmation email. Then the so-called manager came out, and his attitude was shockingly rude and unprofessional. I honestly expected him to resolve things, but instead, he made it worse.

Dishonest business practices. Oversells rooms and tries to downgrade without informing or offering a discount. Booked a room 3 days prior to my stay. Upon arrival, check-in took longer than typical after I was unable to check in online. (For context, I'm a Hilton Diamond member who regularly spends 75-100 nights per year at Hilton properties and am familiar with the process and properties.)
