The Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort

We absolutely loved our stay at the Westin on Jekyll Island! Even though we live in Florida, we were craving a change of scenery, and this resort exceeded every expectation. Our entire week at the property was nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful and upscale, and the grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. Our oceanfront suite was incredible. Starting each morning with a cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean was pure bliss, and ending our evenings there with a glass of wine was just as magical. The views, the tranquility, and the overall experience made our stay truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway.

We've enjoyed our stays in Westin properties before, and this one is outstanding! It's a fantastic, quiet location for enjoying Jekyll Island and the building and grounds are simply beautiful and kept very clean. And while the accommodations, amenities, and services are certainly noteworthy, the very best part of this resort is the staff. Every employee we interacted with, and there were many, was just wonderful. Friendly, welcoming, helpful, caring, polite...every positive attribute you could want. In the dining room, Crystal was delightful! She gave us great service, fun conversation, and good tips on enjoying the Island. We highly recommend the Westin Resort!

Dear Westin Jekyll Island Team, We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for making our recent stay so incredibly special. We arrived without giving any advance notice that we had planned to get married, so we were truly surprised and touched when your team noticed our luggage and sent up a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us — especially because we never had to ask. It made our celebration feel even more magical. We also absolutely loved the personal note that was left for us. Very peaceful and clean upscale ocean front resort. We were treated like family and would love to come back. The hotel is clean, modern and so nice to just walk out on the beach or grab a couple of bikes to go explore the island. Just loved it from the first moment until we had to leave. They really took care of us and recognized our retire military service, upgraded our room and made us feel appreciated! Very professional staff and service. Everyone was always smiling and happy.

From check in to check out, all services were just stellar. The names I can remember to give a shout out to: Crystal and Jade in the restaurant, Maria and Anna at the front desk, and Noah who delivered the chairs and umbrella, all 5 star employees. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was incredible! I think we've found our new winter vacation destination spot. The only feedback I can provide is to tone down the scent machines in the lobby. It was very overwhelming. Also, the pool heater was down when we arrived, which was a bummer, but I'm glad my three year old still had fun even if only we could get into the pool at knee level.
