I give 5 stars because it met all my needs and expectations. Only stayed 2 nights. The pool looked nice although I didn’t use it but did see people enjoying it. I’m not a hotel restaurant or breakfast guy so I have nothing to say about the food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartender Ana gave a perfect explanation of the biking trails and things to see. The hotel if kinda far from restaurants and shops, but no worries, they have free shuttle until 10pm every night. If you’re there for the beach, it’s right behind the hotel with a cool walk along the boardwalk. I enjoyed my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. People were very friendly and helpful. The room was very large and clean, and we enjoyed setting on the balcony. The hotel's location is not as close to the main attractions as some, but they do offer a shuttle service if needed. Also, during the time we went there was ample parking available at all of the attractions/sites if you chose to drive.

I go here every Christmas for the past 5 years , love the beach side location of the hotel. Unlike many other beaches you find these beaches clean and often not even a footprint is seen so you feel like you’re exploring the beach for the first time. I walked the beaches from the hotel south to Glory Beach and Saint Andrew’s Beach on the end of the island and north to Corsair Beach , Great Dunes and then going back on the trail north to Driftwood Beach. If Driftwood Beach is one of your favorites then check out the ares along South Dunes and Glory Beaches where additional driftwood forests may be seen and are easier to access.

My husband and I booked a two-night February getaway to Jekyll Island with our kids (8 & 9), choosing this hotel for the price and hot tub. At check-in our room smelled awful—two boxes of leftover seafood were in the fridge. Jess at the desk apologized, and thankfully the odor cleared after we were out for the day. That night we discovered the hot tub was out of order, which was disappointing since it was a main reason we booked. The next day it was fixed, and we decided to extend our stay. The pool and breakfast were good, and the room itself was nice. Unfortunately, the final night ruined everything. Around 10:15 p.m., our key cards stopped working while our children were asleep inside. Jess said a handyman had to come from Brunswick and didn’t know how long it would take. There was no u
