The Westin Houston Downtown

Cleanliness is the most important thing to me and I found the hotel to be spotless! The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a mini refrigerator. The public areas were clean and inviting and the hotel bar was great. They serve an amazing chicken sandwich. It was conveniently located - a 10 minute walk - to BBVA stadium, and is located across from Minute Maid Park. I highly recommend this hotel and have already booked my next stay in October. DeAndre, who is one of the curbside assistants, was an absolute joy in addition to being helpful. He thanked me for staying at the hotel so that he has a job. Remarkable.

I am working at the George R Bush convention center. The Westin is 2 blocks away and a really easy walk. I like to have a place where I can grab a quick bite at the end if my day and head to my room. The lobby bar is the perfect place. The food is amazing! The valet folks have all been great. The front desk staff the same. I have no complaints and highly recommend staying at the Westin, especially if you are in townnon business.

I would highly recommend this hotel for quick visits to Houston for its location, amenities, spacious and clean rooms, and cozy feel. The room was impeccable and had all the extras I didn’t know I needed, like a sound machine to help you sleep better. During my stay, I also used their valet service, which is a good value if you are planning to be in and out of the city, as most nearby parking lots do not do overnight stays with free in and out privileges. The staff was kind and accommodating. I would stay here again!

The lobby bar was wonderful for our cheer group & the food was great! A special shout out to Jaelyn who was super friendly, kind, thoughtful & helpful. My daughter had the flu during a cheer competition & she sent up tea & fruit for her & even offered to get her medicine. She was extremely accommodating & kind.

From the moment you walk in, everything is spotless—immaculately clean from the entrance all the way to the rooms, bathrooms, and even the fitness center. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and get great rest. Customer service was top-notch both at arrival and checkout—friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout the entire stay. Truly a 5/5 experience. Highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back again!
