The Westin Georgetown, Washington D.C.

I had a wonderful stay at the Westin Georgetown! The staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive from check-in to check-out. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is perfect—quiet yet close to great dining and attractions. Overall, an excellent experience and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We’ve stayed here multiple times, and each visit has been perfect. Staff are very kind, welcoming, and accommodating, especially at the Front Desk. The room was nice and the bathrooms are huge (compared to other Marriott properties) and comfortable. Sadly the restaurant was closed because of Covid, but that’s no ones fault, there are many dining choices within walking distance (including a Starbucks across the street!). Parking is easy, but it’s better to stop by the desk before hand so they can give you a parking pass. In all we love this property and will continue to visit year after year!

The Westin Georgetown is well situated, providing easy walking access to the shops and restaurants of Georgetown. Service ⭐ The front desk team was a highlight. Check-in was efficient and the staff was genuinely helpful - they shared 4-5 excellent restaurant recommendations within walking distance, which saved us time searching for dinner. The Room and Amenities 🛏️ The room was clean, modern, and spacious. 🏋️ The fitness center is excellent and much larger than a standard hotel gym. Featuring Peloton bikes, rowing machines, and even standalone lat pulldown and leg weight machines, it is great for a workout. 🍽️ The on-site public dining area was styled with wood paneling and tables, and it was convenient for grabbing a coffee and toast in the morning. Great location but low value for a minimum of $300 per night. The customer service is horrible starting with the leadership (local rooms operations manager Crystina J. Smith and extremely rude Miami Call Center/ "member services supervisor" Carlos P). ||They do not value customers, as demonstrated by their verbal rudeness, apathy, and overall behavior (they stand around chatting with each other not providing assistance with bags, getting car services, answering landscape/concierge services) and other poor treatment of customers. ||Quiet boutique hotel-like atmosphere. Clean room/bathroom but outdated and the furniture is old/worn; there was also a strong odor coming from the heat & A/C unit. There are no amenities except a nice gym. This hotel is not worth $300 - $600 per night. DC /George

Exceptional Front Desk Service I had a wonderful experience at the Westin Georgetown, and I want to specifically recognize Esther and Bya at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. Their positive attitudes and attention to detail immediately set the tone for a great stay. Esther and Bya went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and comfortable, and their friendliness made a lasting impression. It’s rare to encounter service that feels both polished and truly sincere, and they delivered exactly that. Because of them, the Westin Georgetown stands out as a place that values excellent hospitality. I will absolutely be returning and recommending this hotel to others.
