The Westin Cleveland Downtown

An affordable luxury! From the on-site valet parking to the check-in experience the start of my stay was seamless. Tim, at the front desk, was welcoming and masterful in handling two busloads of early arrivals and accompanying luggage. I was early and he politely told me he'd be glad to hold our luggage. We spent a little time at the Winking Lizard sports bar which is attached to the hotel. When we cam back at check-in time, it was a snap. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is clean, the shower was a large walk-in with great pressure. There are 23 floors and the view from the hotel shows a lot of the lakefront, including the GL Science Center and the Browns Stadium. Check out was a breeze. Ran into Tim again and he asked how our stay was. Getting the car back from the parking garage

Positive: I was extremely disappointed in my stay. The room clearly had not been cleaned but the bedding was changed. The hot water would not get hot, and the heat would not work. Parking garage is attached to the hotel, but crazy expensive. Ramp is tight and 2 way traffic, so 2 honks if going up, 1 honk down. Not real clean and not well lit. ||Busy check in desk. Elevators are plentiful. Hallways are very poorly lit and very chilly. We were on the 16 th floor. ||Had a half window on one side of the room which had a nice view of Lake Erie. Curtains were nice and kept sunlight out in the morning. TV has a list of channels but no actual guide, so need to channel surf to find out what is on. Nice closet for items. ||I really struggled to fall asleep as the bed itself was fine, but the bedding itself was awful. I had to remake the bed as my feet kept getting tangled in the sheets, so I undid all the mitered corners and that helped a bit, but the quilt/bedspread was so h

The lobby was beautiful! Hotel provides pretty views of Cleveland as well. The service was pleasant. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was slightly dated, while the sink faucet only emitted hot water. Free parking was also not an option provided by the hotel. Have stayed in other Westin hotels. This was not the better of them, but it was still a good experience.

A little late, but I had a wonderful trip to Cleveland at this hotel during the last week of 2025. The hotel was immaculate and the staff were exceptionally pleasant; I never had a question go unanswered. I ate regularly at the Masa and Agave on site restaurant. So good. Even on game day (vs Steelers) they were attentive and thorough. I would like to recognize the staff: Sidney, William, Emma, Anthony, and Lauren were all great to me and made my meals more enjoyable. Sadly, Grandma passed a few weeks after I was able to see her one last time. She was 104.5! We were rooting for 105 in May. But I still have family there and will make this my go-to hotel when I return.
