I truly loved my stay at the Watergate Hotel. The room was absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, spacious, and exceptionally clean. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, which made the entire experience feel both luxurious and comfortable. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was professional, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything needed. Their hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Watergate Hotel to anyone looking for a refined and memorable experience. I look forward to staying there again.
This is a good hotel. Our superior room was spacious and comfortable. The service was very friendly. The location is good for the Kennedy Center and walking distance to Georgetown but is not ideal for walking to most tourist sites in D.C. ||It was disappointing that there is no food service whatsoever after 10:30pm, not even room service or snacks at the bar
Positive: The front desk staff was very attentive and nice, accommodating earlier check in, umbrella loaner available and water bottles always offered. Negative: We had problem w AC for first 2 days no AC and then switched rooms to a supposed upgrade but room seemed exactly the same. 2nd room had NO lock into another strangers room which took 24 hrs to fix, toilet noises thru out stay, coffee machine broken.
My first time staying at the Watergate Hotel was a big success. The service, especially the valet and bell staff, was top notch. The rooms were spacious and had incredible views of the Potomac and the Washington monument. Downstairs bar has an excellent outdoor area to enjoy cigars. The indoor pool was a big hit with my son; his mom enjoyed the sauna and other spa options. Only drawback is that their breakfast options are awful. But there are tons of great breakfast spots right nearby. Lastly, the location is super convenient if you’re bringing a car. The daily parking rate was reasonable and you’re right off of Rock Creek Parkway. If you’re not bringing a car, it’s also nice because there are a ton of taxis available, which I think are a much better value in DC these days.
We had a wonderful stay at The Watergate Hotel. The service was superb. Every single employee we came across was super nice and made sure our stay went well. The room wasn’t that big but it was clean. One tiny problem we had was that none of the plugs on one side of the bed worked. The pool was amazing and the hot tub and sauna were nice bonuses. Our first night, the hot tub was only lukewarm (basically the same temp as the pool), but it was warmer the second night. It’s within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay here again.
