The Vine Inn Davis

The location is great! I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff was nice as she allowed early check in since the room was available.

Hotel seemed nice at first, but looks can be deceiving. I have stayed at most hotels in Davis and this has been the worst one. Hair on bathroom floor, leaking ceiling in shower from floor above...I cannot begin to describe how gross this is. AC runs load like a diesel truck and very difficult to sleep. Breakfast is not friendly to folks who don't like super processed food, not one piece of fresh fruit available which was disappointing. Housekeeping came in every other day, which was fine, but then they took the soap from the bathroom I was using and did not replace it. Only positive was that it was conveniently located in Davis. Overall, I would not stay here again unless I had no other choice.

Positive: Best shower at any hotel ever! Negative: The sticky maple trees made a mess around the property and on my car.

Good, simple hotel, probably better for business than for vacation.Cleanliness looked good. Person at the front desk was very nice and helpful.They have a good set of juice and snacks available all day. Can be noise from loud cars or people out in the parking lot.

We only stayed one night, it was a very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was an assortment and well-stocked. The front desk also held our luggage for us as we were traveling by train and did not leave until late in the evening.
