The Tudor Arms Hotel Cleveland - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Staffed with the nicest employees, the service here is great! The Hotel shuttle drivers are so helpful and kind as well and really made it easy to get back and forth to Cleveland Clinic. Rooms were extremely clean, well stocked and comfortable in this recently renovated historical building. I can’t say a “lot” about the food, because the flatbread was SO delicious, its the only thing I ate! The breakfast buffet was diverse, maybe adding the option of “as you like them” eggs would be appreciated. …Again, amazing staff, cost competitive pricing and great Hilton benefits made our many stays comfortable and made us feel welcome.

The rooms have poor amenities. Not mini fridge. No microwave. Maybe I’m lucky but that is standard now days. Especially as a Hilton owned property. The staff has been brilliant and friendly. They have the right people here. The restaurant is bad. On the website you’ll see a caprese salad with risotto and a fine-dining like essence. Truthfully it’s like a TGI Fridays and the food is sub par. North staffs fault- the hotel should do better. The windows are paper thin being that this is a 100 year old building, and being across from a medical campus there are sirens all night. I am here for medical reasons due to cancer so I get it. But if you’re trying to sleep and relax be prepared- it’s like every hour or more sometimes. Parking is 27 dollars a day or something- I was NOT notified of that

We were in Cleveland for a Cleveland Clinic visit.|The Tudor Arms Double Tree is close to the Clinic.|Upon ckeck-in, we were told there was no A/C. I explained that we were there for the week and needed a room. I presented my Hilton card, and she found a room. It had A/C.|The room was large, clean, and comfortable. It worked out well for our stay. We ate at the on-site restaurant twice.|The restaurant had good food at reasonable prices.|The $18 breakfast buffet was a mistake.|Service was marginal. Most employees were more interested in their private conversations than the customer.|The shuttle drivers were John and James. They were great! They were prompt, friendly, and gave great recommendations for dinner and attractions. Take care of them.

Positive: Room quality Negative: The parking situation and luggage drop off is not good. One has to check in first to get into the parking area and there was no easy was to park temporarily to check in.

Tudor Arms is a clean, reliable place to stay in great location for folks needing to be proximate to Cleveland Clinic, Case Western, University Hospitals and Little Italy. Have stayed here probably a dozen times over the last 5 years. The rooms are ready for a refresh but are clean. The self-parking is a plus and the staff is friendly and helpful. The building itself is a remarkable example of 1920’s architecture.
