The Starfish by RealJoy Vacations

Been here 3 nights of my 4. Notified RealJoy of cockroaches, getting kicked off the private beach that’s advertised in the listing and overall non-cleanliness of the condo. Sliding glass door sticks and won’t lock. WiFi is nonexistent which renders TVs useless and kids tablets when you’ve had enough sun. Pool is tiny and full of people drinking in it and emptying beer cans in the water. Will never return. RealJoy told me to expect a few roaches in Florida condos. Needless to say I’m a Florida resident and that is not the norm.

Where do I begin? Upon arrival, there was an odor that reeked of mold throughout the condo but worst in the bunk bed bathroom. Sand in sheets in “master bedroom”. Rugs in each room were filthy with dirt and looked like they had never been cleaned. Dirt on the floors, specifically in the kitchen. Dirt on walls in living room and white stains on couch in living room (couch was basically wood wrapped with material). On the porch were rotting chairs- NOT the plastic chairs shown in pics as advertised. The “chairs and umbrella” that come with the condo were filthy with sand all over them and the closet and the chairs were completely rusted. Both shower curtains were covered in mold.
