The Southern Mansion

Hello. I am not one to leave reviews for anything at all. Ken is so welcoming! My husband & I felt the warmth as soon as we walked into The Southern Mansion, upon meeting Ken. Our breakfast freshly made by Nick was delicious! He is such a polite young man. We will return, and are letting everyone know about The Southern Mansion. Thank you for the enjoyable weekend. This was our second time staying at The Southern Mansion. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the large, tiled shower with great water pressure and hot water. We enjoyed ordering our breakfast choices the night before and had many different options to choose from. Since we visited in September, we appreciated being within close walking distance of the shops, promenade and great restaurants.

I can’t even put into words how much we loved The Southern Mansion. I just came back from leading a long weekend yoga retreat. We were off season and had the pleasure of staying in the mansion during the town’s quiet time. I felt like I was home as did all of the yoga friends and family that were in my retreat. I was in love with the detail of the restoration. And the staff, from start to finish were amazing. Denise, the manager who worked with me for months leading up to the event, helping to attend to every little detail, I am so thankful and appreciative of how good she is at her job. The food was lovely and the service was not only top notch from a service perspective but they were all so friendly, welcoming, like family welcoming you home. Great location for this iconic, old school, historic, B&B (you're in walking distance of nearly everything). Even if you want to visit a few nearby attractions, it's a short drive ... Loved the free breakfast: cooked to order and ample enough to skip lunch. Plus the service here was outstanding! ... The clientele is a bit older so you don't have to worry about noisy neighbors which you do in other establishments. A nice place to chill out & relax!

What a beautiful place. We stayed in Room 18 which is on the first floor. It is a large room with a king sized bed and private bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was excellent ... you have a choice of one of 4 entrees and various side options. Our server, Joey, was excellent... very friendly and professional. Joey also conducted a house tour which is free for all guests. I definitely recommend the house tour! The location was great ... few blocks from the Washington Mall and beach.
