The Seaward

This adorable apartment is perfect for an ocean getaway. The apartment was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and many amenities. You can't beat the gorgeous ocean view from the front room. The apartment is an easy walk or short car ride to Rockport, a quintessential New England oceanside town. There are also many beautiful beaches in Rockport and its neighboring town of Gloucester. Nancy was a wonderful and accommodating host. We will definitely be back to stay again!

If you are choosing to make a visit to Rockport, The Seaward is THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY! I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was in the Spruce Cottage. The view is spectacular! The accommodations comfortably cozy. And the owner - Nancy - warm, gracious, and attentive. This hidden gem is exactly what we needed! Who knew that a place like this still existed in today's world??? If you choose to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the nearby cove and shops, you MUST also enjoy a stay at The Seaward. Just a short walk into town, The Seaward allows you to enjoy the beauty of Rockport's seaside, colorful floral, and the stunning homes along the coast. We’ve stayed there 2 years in a row. The unit was immaculate, well appointed including a kitchen area with cups and dishes, microwave, and the essentials for cooking. The Seaward complex is small, quiet and provides a beautiful view of the ocean. It was comfortable and cozy, It is an easy and lovely 1 mile walk to the center. The owner is always available making sure you have a wonderful stay. We did and are coming back!||||John & Jill

This is a quiet, comfortable place to relax and enjoy the beauties of Rockport. Furnishings at the Seaward were simple but offered everything I needed, including comfortable beds and air conditioners that behaved like champs during a heat wave. My second floor apartment had a gorgeous view of the ocean, and a walk along Marmion Way offered many more lovely vistas that encompassed stunning homes and gardens. Among the several ways to walk into the town center is a charming footpath along the rocky shore that includes a spacious sandy beach. Nancy was attentive and helpful, providing great recommendations for things to see and do, restaurants, and shopping. And the other guests were friendly "regulars" who returned often and knew the area well.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming cottage. Although small, it had all the amenities we needed to cook dinner, enjoy beautiful views, and also walk along beautiful shoreline. It's also in a great location, an easy walk into Rockport. Nancy was a great host, and can't say enough good things about our stay.
