Mooring Stone Guest House

A beautiful house located very close to Rockport Music (aka Shalin Liu Performance Center) and other local attractions. It is very well organized and has this very welcoming feel to it. The view is incredible, and we would love to come back to this Rockport hidden gem. Thank you, Joyce!

The water view from the suites large private patio was breathtaking. The suite itself had two attached rooms (bedroom & small livingroom) plus it's own private bathroom. The suite had a small sink, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. I loved waking up in the morning and having my coffee from the patio and watching the sun rise and the boats go by. The suite has its own entrance and it's easily accessible to the street. The guest house sits on a quiet residential street, but it's just walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, front beach and the performance center. Joyce was a sweetheart and she knew a lot about rockport and the history. My boyfriend and I had a lovely romantic and relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend mooring stone guest

The harbor view from the suites large patio is breathtaking! The suite is very clean and well decorated with a lot of charm and elegance. There is a small sink, mini refrigerator, micowave, coffee maker and electric tea kettle with stocked tea and coffee in suite, so you can have a cup and watch the sunrise from the attached small livingroom or outside on the patio. The shower has great water pressure and a large shower head. It's a short walk to all of the shops, restaurants and Shalin Liu performance theater. Joyce is a sweetheart with a lot of knowledge of Rockport. The suite has its own private entrance and easily accessible to the street. The street is very quiet and residential. Definitely recommend this guest house as a relaxing retreat by the sea. The only negative is there

A delightful stay on Rockport Harbor, the suite has everything we needed for two nights... it was clean and well-furnished with a beautiful view and the sounds of the waterfront. The owner, Joyce, pays great attention to detail by having the room stocked with coffee and tea, plenty of towels and a wonderful private patio just outside the suite. Highly recommend this retreat.

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for 4 days in August. Joyce was a wonderful host. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and she was fun to talk to. She gave us many suggestions for great restaurants and places to see and things to do. We loved that this place was in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to Bearskin Neck and a private beach nearby. Other B&Bs we saw were on busy streets and some required a car to get around. Some hotels are on the water but don't have AC or fans. This place has very clean rooms and AC. We slept well each night. Joyce was easy to contact if we needed anything and we could come and go as we pleased. It was a wonderful, relaxing trip. We can't wait to stay here again!
