The Rockport House

What a lovely place to stay for days! Online check in with a door code made it easy. We came for a family visit during holidays and just want to have a small place to relax and do small cookings. The interior finishes are beautiful. Our deep blue suite has a well equipped kitchen and a cute bistro table set overlooking from uphills by our tall windows. We love the beddings so much and it was so cozy to sleep in and wake up with a cup of freshly brewed coffee lol maybe a 8:30am check out text reminder is better than at 7am, because the bed and room are so comfortable to sleep in

The Rockport House is what Elon Musk would create if he killed off all B&B staff and replaced them with a glitchy app. ||||The humans are gone and have been replaced by offshore operators, weird prison locks and spooky security cameras. ||||When you call the Rockport House for directions, you get an offshore operator who knows nothing about Rockport OR the house. ||||When you arrive, there are packages on the front porch because no one is there to get them (or you) inside. You have to mess with a high tech security lock that took several minutes for us to open. ||||When we called the hotel for help with the lock, there was no one to greet us or open the door, but the voice on the phone said, "I can see you on the security camera." ||||It was one cold, weird and dystopian night. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed even longer. The room was perfect with everything we needed for the stay. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and the linens were extra comfy. The room was decorated nicely and was very spacious. Check in was very easy and communication was exceptional. Most definitely a 5 star stay!!

A fantastic stay. My partner and I adored The Rockport House and wish we could have stayed longer. Check-in and check-out were convenient. Located on a super cute and quiet street. The room was spotless and bug-free! The bed was comfortable. It was 15 minutes away from Hammond Castle. As someone with severe food allergies, I appreciated that the rooms come with a microwave and fridge, which is difficult to find in the Rockport/Gloucester area. The room was affordable yet upscale. Thank you for a great stay!

The Rockport House is a lovely boutique hotel that operates in a way I hadn't experienced before. The hotel will send you an email before you check in with your door code - you won't be able to get into your room without it (there are no physical keys) and there's no on-site staff.||||We stayed in the main house, and building appears in excellent condition and is well maintained; our room was fresh and clean. We were able to park quite literally right outside our room's windows which ended up being somewhat unfortunate, since I love natural light but due to being on the first floor, anyone could see in, and the only curtains in the room are heavy, light-blocking drapes so it's all sun or no sun.||||The room was spacious and decorated sparingly, but it worked for the room, somehow.
