The Savannah Inn

Positive: The location is perfect. Negative: The rooms were dated and needed some upgrades. Our coffee maker didn’t work, our drains emptied slow and the beds were hard. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as you need it to be to cook for a week. Several of the lights in the bathroom were blown out.

Fabulous! Everyone is so nice and go above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Ocean view rooms are spacious with lovely balconies. This inn is a gem! Highly recommend.

As I watched the sun rise from the balcony this morning, I realized what a hidden gem we visited this week, the Savanah Inn. The service and desk staff were friendly, available and went above and beyond. Lilly, at the desk was so nice. I had to reschedule my trip from September, and they worked with me, made sure I received the email confirmation. Our room was updated and was clean. Beds (two queens) were very comfortable. No breakfast, but a kitchen that supplied utensils, plates, cups and drinking glasses, as well as Microwave and large refrigerator. There was a coffee pot and the Inn provided coffee, cream and sugar. There are plenty of places within walking distance for breakfast. The Inn has direct access to the beach, which was very convenient. Met the owners as I checked out, both

The room felt more like a home than a hotel, the owner and staff are wonderful people and very helpful, and the location is incredibly convenient! The beach is steps away from your room, and nearly every kind of store can be found within walking/bicycling distance. I know where I'll be staying next time I come to Wilmington! :)

Very close to the beach. Staff is nice, room was very clean and as described. The room was spacious and a generous amount of pillows on each bed. The pool was nice and they let us enjoy the pool and the parking while we waited for the room . The website AND your receipt specifies a 10% discount for cash payment, but it's not. It's just the 3% transaction fee waived. I put my dirty linens out (per the welcome letter)with the housekeeping sign, and they took the trash and the dirty towels, but they never brought new towels nor cleaned the room. All in all, it was a great place. My daughter and I didn't use the car at all and walked everywhere over the weekend. It was very quiet, comfortable, and I would recommend it and stay there again!
