I absolutely love The Roosevelt! I’ve stayed here several times, and it never disappoints. The hotel is not only beautiful, but the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. Its central location makes it easy to get anywhere in the city, and Christmas time is especially magical . The decorations are stunning, and the Christmas Brunch is absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough!
We loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and it is in a great location. Very close to Bourbon and Canal, but far enough that there is no noise or trash outside the hotel. The soap/lotion smelled amazing. Check in/check out was quick and everyone was very friendly. The lobby was beautiful and required a room key to enter which I appreciated when returning after dark. Overall, very pleasant stay and would return.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Roosevelt this past weekend with my bridal party. The entire experience was a 10/10. From the valet and bellmen, to the front desk staff and housekeeping- EVERYONE was warm, welcoming and extremely professional. Not to mention, they all provided me with kind and encouraging words on the day of my wedding. The location was perfect, the rooms were spotless and the service was impeccable! Sending a special shout out to Marsha, she is the BEST and a huge reason why we can’t wait to visit again!! Thank you so much!!!
Breakfast: In room dining. Eggs way over cooked. English muffin was raw out of the bag. Sausage was ok. No fresh squeezed juice!!!!!! Only Tropicana and it says fresh juice on the menu. The worst in room dining breakfast ever. Lunch: In room dining. Cesar salad with chicken was good but so small! The chicken tenders were OK but they forgot to bring the honey mustard sauce. They automatically add 20% tip. I would say that is OK to do if everything is perfect, which it is not. Not even close. They do not deserve any tip, especially tipping themselves automatically. I will never come back here again. Not worth the money. This place is a disgrace to the name Waldorf Astoria. The rooms are so depressing. dated and dirty. Change the carpets, curtains and wallpaper. Positive: Beautifully decorated for the season and well located Negative: Caters to people coming to view decor, take pics and have a drink (or attend event) than it does to guests. And it’s overwhelmed by one-night guests staying for parities - with not enough staff for smooth turnover, which caused us to miss ticketed event.
