The Quincy, an Ascend Collection Hotel

We are seasoned travelers and are in DC quite often. We had not heard of the Quincy but it seemed central to our visit and wonderfully priced for DC. (We thought it was a great deal or could be a horrible experience!!). From checking in until leaving tomorrow, we have been so impressed with the room, facilities, and the wonderful staff. EVERYONE was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and importantly, proud of their hotel. We have been in many hotels in DC and elsewhere where staff seem put upon to provide services, with no social skills, etc. Not the Quincy. The complimentary wine is a nice touch, and the rooms are very well thought out. The room was comfortable, efficient and spacious. The front desk as always was attentive and helpful.

Very well located. Super clean!! Hooray for that! Nice little kitchenette in the room that came in handy. Street noise is a bit much, and there's a club down at ground level, but it's a city, so that's not the hotel's fault. Coffee in the lobby any time you want it, and take advantage of the wine hour from 5-6. Cool! We visited in February, and the only option for climate control in the room is for heat, no cooling option, and our room with the heat turned completely off stayed at around 73 degrees. One of our party is from Alaska, and we live in the Northeast, and we never keep our house at 73 degrees in the winter. Bit too hot to sleep for us and nothing we could do about it, but the hotel offered a fan. But if we needed anything (bath tissue refill, for instance), they brought it right

Positive: Very nice staff, great location, comfortable bed, have a kitchen was nice. Negative: One night there were loud guests that the staff just did not seem able to shut up or kick out.

I recently stayed at The Quincy for ten days and had a truly excellent experience. My room was bright, spacious, and consistently clean throughout my stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt inviting and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Everyone I interacted with was professional and genuinely kind, always ready to assist. I also faced a small issue during my stay, and the team reacted immediately and handled it efficiently, which I really appreciated. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Washington, D.C. With the metro close by and so many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance, it made exploring the city incredibly easy. Overall, I highly recommend The Quincy for anyone

Hey, The AC was sold out last week during the storm but I had to have a room close to the firm I was remote working for. A co-worker told me about the Quincy and said it was a awesome find. At half the price of the AC, the Quincy was delightful. The rooms have kitchens! Not only are the kitchenettes clean and well appointed, the interiors are brand new. The price was exceptional, and the check in and out was fast and easy. The desk gentleman texted within 20 minutes after I settled in to confirm that the WIFI was working and that I had everything I needed. They don't have a formal restaurant there but a good assortment of convenience foods in the lobby. They have a nice bar that serves bar type food. I will book there again. I think this hotel will pleasantly surprise you.
