Customer Reviews
My friend and I just spent a weekend here and had a great time! Renee is a wonderful host; she is friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly funny. The accommodations were as expected: quaint, clean, and comfortable with plenty of Cape May charm. And the location cannot be beaten - everything is right out the front door, and the beach & boardwalk are a few short blocks away. Highly recommend staying here if you want to walk, learn about the history of CM, and enjoy being in the hustle and bustle of the town.
We are so glad we chose the Prince Edward Inn for our stay in Cape May. We had a one-bedroom apartment in a restored Victorian house. The furnishings were appropriate to the style; the kitchen was updated; there was a lovely little balcony where we ate lunch a couple of times; and Renee was a fabulous hostess. The location couldn't be better - a half block from the beach and around the corner from the Washington Street Mall. Just remember to bring your own towels, wash cloths, etc.
Renee is the absolute best! She is welcoming, warm, helpful, knowledgeable, and simply adorable, we love her! She has kept the Prince Edward in pristine shape, for us it’s a perfect blend of gorgeously detailed architectural features and old world beach home charm and modern comfort. We enjoy starting our day chatting with her or sipping coffee on the porch. Renee always makes us feel like we are “coming home” to Cape May❤️☀️🏖
I stayed for two nights with my mother. The accommodation is modern and clean. When checking in I advise you ensure any damage to this newly refurbished accommodation is noted by the host when she shows you around. Her standard check-out instructions are to leave the key inside and not give it to her directly as she is busy. More than 24 hours after leaving I received a blunt message from the host accusing me of leaving a stain on the bathroom floor. The stain was there before we checked-in. The host continued to accuse me of having damaged the property. This host needs to think about the way she communicates with guests.
We spent a week here this past summer. The owner, Renee, was very friendly and accommodating. There is parking on site so you can park your car and you never really have to move it. The beach is a half block in one direction and the Washington Street Mall with shops, restaurants and cafes is a block and a half in the other direction. You can also catch a horse and carriage ride there as well. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was the long walk up the stairs since we had the 3rd floor apartment. It was tiring to take all our luggage and groceries up all the stairs but once that was done, it was great. There is also an outside shower so you can wash off all the sand before you head into your apartment. I would definitely stay here again.
