The Present

Great place to stay if you want to explore the Downtown area of Savannah. We walked out the door and spent the entire day walking around the beautiful parks and squares, river walk, eateries and shops. The building was clean, parking was easy (we used the Park Savannah app for the $1/hour parking from 8am-8pm; also note signs about street sweeping on certain days), and communication from The Present was excellent from the moment of booking to post-check out. The communication with them, however, was cumbersome. All email/text messages include a phone number. I called it on Dec 30 to inquire if there would be street sweeping on New Year's Day and left a message. I did hear back from someone shortly after who said they would contact the General Manager and get back to me. I did not hear

We picked room 102 (street level) to stay for one night in Savannah. We never stayed in a staff-less hotel, and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. We knew what to expect, and we received clear instructions on what to do to check in and use the accommodations. It took us a minute to get our bearings, yet the whole process was easy. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The coffee station was a nice addition--we used it in the morning and had our coffee on the nice patio. The list of amenities doesn't include that the "coffee station" also has an ice maker. The TV is app-based, so you'll need to bring your own account(s) to watch anything. Parking is on the street, and we had no problem finding a spot by the hotel. Make sure to look at the hours you need to pay for

We love to find boutique hotels to stay at and this place did not disappoint! The room we had originally booked had some issues with the AC that the manager let us know about ahead of time. He then offered us a different room with better working AC and we were so grateful for it! The rooms are all beautiful and well maintained. There are definitely some quirks in the building because it's older, but we liked that about it. The location is great too, in a quiet area that is walkable to more of the action/tourist area. We will definitely come back here if we come to Savannah again! The prices are reasonable too for being on the edge of the historic district, which is also a huge plus on the budget!

I stayed at The Present last month for my wife's bday and it was a great experience. Mark the GM for the property was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming every time. He went out of his way to make sure we had all our questions answered as well as providing recommendations to local eateries, bars, and attractions. He let us check out late as we had a later flight and that was super helpful. The property is very cool as there are a variety of rooms to pick from that all have different features which can be more suited to what works best for you. We went to dinner and drinks by the water and touristy area nightly but I also liked that the property was about a 10ish minute walk to that area as It was very loud and crowded on the weekend so being slightly further away was nice when the n

This was my fist exprencince with a boutique hotel and this place has stolen my heart!!!! Parking was easily available and the property manager was very informative and ensured that I had all the details needed before getting to the property. They even included a picture to my entrance which was extremely helpful! There was no delay with receiving my access code to enter the property and they had everything I needed plus more inside of the room; I had no need to request anything!! The room itself was so beautiful, clean and cozy and loved the balcony area. I felt so at home here and will definitely be back!
