The Notary Hotel, Philadelphia, Autograph Collection

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because it is part of the Marriott collection. We do like the Marriotts. Everything we experienced here at the Notary has been outstanding. From the moment we arrived until we left. The valets, front desk and coffee service……|I especially want to mention Juan, who checked us in. He was very accommodating and tended to all of our needs. Absolutely a five star rating for my visit. I was in town the PCMA convening leaders conference and the hotel was a short walk away from the convention center. Definitely a great location for me with so many good restaurants and bars in the area to check out after the conference hours. I was lucky enough to check in and out with Sonia and she was very welcoming and made sure both were an ease. I am sure they had a busy weekend and it got very hectic as the hotel was at capacity but she didn’t let any of that show during both processes. This was first time staying in the hotel and truly enjoyed my stay. Dorian another agent I met in the lobby area also made this stay top tier. I give this beautiful hotel a one star because I was here for two nights on a work trip and could not sleep because of two different issues. Problem one was they put me on the second floor with an adjoining roo. So there was a door in between. I think the doors are thin or something. Because on night one, I could hear the television of the person next-door blaring till around midnight.. On night two there were a bunch of girls getting ready for a wedding in the other room and it was like they were in my bedroom. It was so loud. I called front desk twice, but never got a resolution. They finally got quiet around two in the morning and were up at it again by seven,. so I hardly got any sleep. I asked the manager to refund me for one night and he did, which was very nice and excellent custo

Positive: I loved the location, so convenient. And the room was really well-appointed- loved having a fridge! Staff were friendly and helpful, I'd forgotten a few toiletries and they sorted me out with those essentials. Negative: My room was a little bit worn looking, to be honest. But spotlessly clean and well-appointed, just the cabinetry was a little banged up. Nothing at all that was a deal-breaker.

Where luxury meets the American Revolution. WOW! Cannot say enough amazing things about this hotel. I’ve stayed at Marriott properties all over and this one really takes the cheesesteak (….get it) I was super impressed by the responsiveness and hospitality of the front desk, a/c guy, and restaurant employees. Loved all the bonuses! Tickets to the American Revolution museum, Uber credit, 2 glasses of house wine, credit towards breakfast shop or the restaurant. I’ve never experienced so many bonuses like that! The gym was clean with a great view and even had Peloton bikes. GORGEOUS lobby decorated so tastefully with the unique book murals. Delicious restaurant with wonderful service downstairs. Highly recommend this hotel 1776x !
