The Nest at Black Hawk

Staff is Uber friendly, the Geo domes are a dream compared to a regular hotel room. Where you can have an “in dome” dining experience, 🍽️🍖or head down to the Community dome to enjoy a Full Bar & Restaurant! If you’re like me and going to to play at some of the Black Hawk Casinos 🎰💸 this place sits right above overlooking all of them and a complementary shuttle regularly passes by to take you down town and back up! Truly an amazing Experience! We also saw Deer and Elk while here! 🦌 I’m never staying anywhere else! ❤️🏕️

This was such a unique experience. It was sooooo romantic. I booked a weekend getaway with my fiancé, and I added on the romance package. When I arrived at my room there were rose petals on the bed, flameless candles all around the room, and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. My heart just melted. Then we had booked a couple's massage and the practitioner was so sweet and professional. We ended our evening at the restaurant with a lovely meal and then drinks at the bar. Afterwards we stepped outside and looked over the mountain's edge. This gave us a perfect view of the beautiful little town of Black Hawk, below. I was absolutely blown away by my visit. They exceeded my expectations. And the staff was so helpfull and accommodating. I will definitely be back.

Took my 4 year old daughter for an evening away. We had a great time, the staff was super nice and made my daughter feel special. The room was clean, the views were great, no issue understanding the TV like one reviewer complained about. The pizza was delicious- overall great experience. The only concern I have is the loft bed, it fits but there is no extra railing or space on either side of the mattress so my 4 year old did not sleep up there in case she fell off the bed. Besides for that great room and experience!

My husband and I stayed at The Nest At Blackhawk on Valentine’s Day. We were looking forward to a romantic night away, which we don’t get often. We booked our stay through booking.com. I’ve done this many times with no issues. When we checked in they didn’t ask for my credit card to put on file. I didn’t think anything of it until the front desk person called me 5 times saying he needed my credit card for incidentals. My husband and I went to the restaurant/bar for a drink and were then going to take my card to the front desk. The front desk person was in the restaurant so I gave him my card to run. No big deal. I saw the hundred dollar charge on my card. Today is March 1st. 16 days since our stay and I have yet to have my deposit returned. I have called the Nest several times. I talked to

We stayed at The Nest (my wife, our dog, and me) and I would call it an average stay. The building and view were fantastic, and the setting is unique. However, based on the website and the usual pricing, which I saw could be about three times what we paid, I expected something more elevated. I assumed the price drop was due to a last-minute booking, but it was not explained whether it was off-season or another reason. It was clear the staff was new, which makes sense since they had a soft opening in December and we stayed at the end of January. Even so, the service did not feel polished. Staff did not seem fully familiar with offerings, and there was little proactive guidance about amenities. It was not clear what might be limited or unavailable.
