The Neighborhood Hotel New Buffalo

Clean, modern rooms. Location is perfect in the heart of the downtown and close to restaurants and bars. Assigned parking is a plus and the communal kitchen makes it easy to store food and drinks that typically wouldn’t fit in a miniature fridge like Most hotel rooms have. We are return guests and still recommend having additional counter or shelf space in the bathroom. Other than that we had a great stay.

We had such an incredible stay at The Neighborhood Hotel New Buffalo — truly one of the best mini getaways we’ve had in a long time - just 1.5 hour away from Chicago. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located close to everything you’d want to see or do in New Buffalo. It made exploring the area so easy and stress-free. The amenities were a huge standout. They’ve thought of so many little details that make the stay feel elevated and homey at the same time. We loved having beach towels ready for us, snacks stocked for the fire pit, and a fully stocked kitchen that made cooking or heating up meals effortless. What a lovely property! The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable, bright and welcoming. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the Neighborhood Hotel and surrounding restaurants (excellent) and shopping. People couldn't have been nicer :) We needed to hang out after check out due to the train schedule and we were allowed to use the common area to wait which was so appreciated. All questions were answered promptly. Would love to go back 10/10!

Absolutely loved the decor and style of our room. All the little touches we perfect. The yard and common areas were perfect to relax and have a snack - walking distance from all our favorite venues. We will be back soon!

My husband and I had been wanting to check out New Buffalo since it is only a little over an hour drive. We decided to go for our anniversary weekend and took our two year old son with. We have been looking at the harbor grand and marina grand hotels but there was no availability. So we ran across the neighborhood hotel. This ended up being perfect for our weekend getaway. We stayed in the garden suite, which had a separate living area and a small kitchen (fridge, micro, dishwasher). There's a communal kitchen which we made breakfast in both mornings. This is perfect because our son likes to eat pretty much right away after waking up.
